VIDEO: Wamalwa-led meeting disrupted as pro-Sonko rowdy youth storm Dandora venue

Chaos erupted at water and irrigation cabinet secretary Eugene Wamalwa’s political rally in Nairobi’s Dandora area when Nairobi senator Mike Sonko gate crashed the event—Sonko was accompanied by rowdy youth who disrupted the meeting forcing the water cabinet secretary and his counterpart bishop Margaret Wanjiru to scamper for safety—the event aborted exposing the rift within the jubilee party as aspirants battle it out for the Nairobi governor nomination ticket. This as Muranga and Kirinyaga counties received two new entrants for the governors’ seat. Sam Ogina reports.
