Vanessa Mdee says it took her two days to know Rotimi was her husband

Tanzanian songstress Vanessa Mdee now says she knew ‘Power’ actor Rotimi was her husband after just two days of meeting.

Vanessa, speaking during a recent interview with Millard Ayo, confessed to falling completely in love with Rotimi, real name Olurotimi Akinosho.

“It took me two days to know this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. Two days…I said ‘this is my husband,’” she said.

“You know when you are in love with somebody. Yes, I’m in love with him.”

The two have on numerous occasions taken to social media platform Instagram to show affection, albeit discreetly, for each other.

They, however, on Monday confirmed that they were officially an item after both posted a photo they took together while going on a date.
