Rising music sensation Savinnah, who is signed under Universal Music Group Kenya, has announced the pre-order availability of her debut EP ‘Pardon Me’ alongside the release of her new single ‘Nyota.’

The EP has been touted as an exploration of the emotions tied to the exhilarating experience of newfound love and deep connections.

The collection of songs delves into the intense emotions that come with the territory of a new love interest, offering listeners a chance to embark on a sincere and deeply personal journey.

The singer’s management, in a statement to newsrooms, said; “’Nyota’ is a testament to the strength and joy of being in love. Savinnah's vocals and lyrics convey her unwavering commitment to her loved one, even when faced with external challenges and opposition. This song is a testament to love's resilience and the importance of staying true to oneself.”

According to the statement, Savinnah's message is that what truly matters is the deep love she shares with her person, and the strength they draw from their connection.

Hence ‘Nyota’ is a celebration of love, authenticity, and the unbreakable bond that can withstand the trials of the world.

The 21-year-old Savinnah, real name Joy Ciru, was early this year signed by Universal Music Group Kenya.

The record label then described her as a multi-talented star who can also play, among other instruments, the guitar and the piano.

John Andrews, the General Manager of Universal Music Group Kenya, expressed his excitement while describing the ease and finesse with which Savinnah transcended from one musical note to another the first time he heard her belt out a tune.
