United Opposition leaders begin three-day Western Kenya tour

The delegation will be led by Democratic Action Party–Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa. Other key principals expected to take part include former Deputy President and DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, People's Liberation Party leader Martha Karua, former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya and Cleophas Malala.
They will be joined by several Members of Parliament, including Eseli Simiyu, Wafula Wamunyinyi, Caleb Amisi, and Peter Salasya.
According to the itinerary, the tour will begin on Friday in Luanda, with stopovers planned in Khwirumbi, Khayega, Malava, Mayuge, and Shikomari, where the leaders are expected to address residents and hold informal engagements.
On Saturday, the leaders will start the day with a media briefing before proceeding to Shianda, Bumala, Nambale, Harambee Market, and Ekitale town for public rallies and community meetings.
The final leg of the tour on Sunday will take them through Kibabii, Chewele, Misikhu, Naitiri, Kiminini, and conclude in Kitale town, where the coalition is expected to wrap up its Western Kenya outreach programme.
