On a Saturday of shock results, champions Gor Mahia were held to a battling barren draw by Kakamega Homeboyz at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos while Shabana picked a rare huge 3-0 win over Posta Rangers as struggling Muhoroni Youth picked a 2-0 win over Nairobi Stars.  Kariobangi Sharks gulped Tusker 3-2.

At the Ulinzi Sports Complex, host team Ulinzi Stars fired one deadly shot to sink travelling Bandari 1-0.

In a thrilling encounter at Ulinzi Sports Complex, the atmosphere was electric as supporters filled the stands with chants and cheers.

Ulinzi Stars came out strong, pressing forward with purpose and intensity in the opening minutes of the game. Their efforts paid off when they broke the deadlock with a well-executed goal from Shambi Ibrahim in the 31st minute, sending their fans into jubilation.

However, Bandari FC undeterred by the early setback, fought valiantly to find an equalizer. They launched several attacks and tested the Ulinzi Stars defense, but their efforts were thwarted by a resilient opposition.

Ulinzi Stars coach Anthony Kimani hailed his team and termed the match as a tough one against formidable opponents.

“It was a very tough match, Bandari are a very good team but congratulations to the boys for keeping the spirit and the concentration throughout the entire match,” said Kimani.

As the dust settled on the thrilling encounter, both teams could take pride in their efforts on the pitch, showcasing the competitive spirit and excitement that defines football in the FKF Premier League.
