UAE-based real estate developer Reportage Group is exploring additional investment opportunities in Kenya as it advances three ongoing residential and hospitality projects in Nairobi valued at more than Ksh.6 billion.

The Group's Managing Director, Andrea Nucera, led a senior leadership delegation on a visit to Kenya, where they inspected the progress of DG JKIA, DG West and Enzo Residence before assessing potential sites for future developments.

The three projects comprise a combined 819 residential and hotel apartments, with DG JKIA and DG West currently under construction, while Enzo Residence was launched in August 2026.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Nucera said Kenya remained an important market for the developer, citing its confidence in the country's long-term real estate potential.

"Kenya is an important market for Reportage Group, and our experience here reinforces our confidence in its long-term potential. As we progress with our existing developments, we are also exploring opportunities to expand our presence through additional projects," he said.

The developer added that it intends to incorporate technology and sustainable building practices into its projects to improve construction efficiency, resource management and the long-term performance of its properties.

Of the three developments, DG JKIA, located along Mombasa Road, comprises 273 hotel apartments strategically positioned near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and the Standard Gauge Railway corridor.

DG West, situated along Sports Road in Westlands, will comprise 200 hotel apartments, while Enzo Residence in Riverside will offer 346 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

The Kenyan investment plans come as Reportage Group pursues an expansion drive across Africa, with its recent tour also covering South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Angola and Rwanda.

During the tour, the Group launched Reportage Bay in Angola, marking its entry into the market through a wider development programme at Dubai Investments Park Angola.

The Angolan programme comprises two residential communities with an estimated combined investment of approximately US$500 million (Ksh.64.9 billion).

Reportage Group's interest in expanding its Kenyan portfolio comes amid improving indicators in the country's residential and hospitality markets.

According to Knight Frank's Kenya Market Update for the first half of 2026, international arrivals through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Moi International Airport rose by 13.1 per cent to 506,622 in the first quarter of 2026, compared to the corresponding period in 2025.

The report also recorded a 6.2 per cent increase in prime residential sale prices during the first half of 2026 compared to December 2025, pointing to sustained demand amid a shortage of quality prime housing.
