Two terror suspects arrested at Likoni ferry crossing in Mombasa

Police officers in Mombasa on Monday arrested two terror suspects at the Likoni ferry crossing and recovered weapons including two AK-47 rifles and ammunition.
The suspects, who were in a Toyota Probox, were attempting to cross over from the South Coast towards Kisiwani in Mombasa.
They were hounded out of the vehicle by at least 10 Anti-Terror Police officers armed to the teeth.
The officers covered the suspects’ heads and then dragged them into their vehicle.
Mobile phones, charger, as well as a machete were also recovered from the suspects’ vehicle.
