Two people killed in an accident on Kisumu-Kakamega highway

Two people have died following a road accident at Lunyerere along the Kisumu–Kakamega highway.
The accident occurred after a truck collided with a bodaboda.
Authorities said that the bodaboda rider and his passenger died on the spot.
Confirming the incident, Izava North Ward Chief Evans Endesia said the bodaboda operator was reportedly speeding at the time of the crash.
The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the Vihiga County Referral Hospital mortuary.
