Two people killed in a road accident in Kwale

Two people have died following a road accident that occurred on Monday night near Diani Bazaar area along Neptune Beach Road in Kwale County.
According to preliminary reports, the deceased were travelling on a motorcycle when they collided with a truck.
Witnesses said the motorcycle rider was speeding before the accident occurred.
The bodies of the two victims have been moved to the Msambweni County Referral Hospital mortuary as authorities launch investigations to establish the exact cause of the accident.
Meanwhile, road users have been urged to observe traffic rules to prevent similar tragedies.
