Two killed, six injured following lightning strike in Kwale

Two people were on Thursday morning killed and six others injured following a lightning strike in Mtsamviani area in Matuga, Kwale County.
Witnesses who spoke to Citizen Digital said the eight took shelter under a tree when it started raining.
The six who sustained minor injuries have since been transferred to a hospital in Mkongani for treatment.
Area authorities have since warned residents against taking cover under trees during heavy rainfall or thunderstorms.
