Two killed in Nakuru-Kisumu highway crash

Two women, a mother and her adult daughter, died in a road
accident on Sunday along the Nakuru–Kisumu highway.
The crash occurred at the Sobea blackspot and involved a personal car and a transit trailer. According to witnesses, the victims were returning from Kisumu after attending a burial of a relative when the accident happened.
The Sobea stretch is a known accident-prone spot, with
authorities previously urging motorists to exercise caution while driving along
the busy highway.
