Motorists have been notified of impending traffic disruptions along James Gichuru Road.
The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) said in an official statement that this will pave the way for scheduled maintenance.
The exercise will be conducted during night hours starting Thursday, March 14 until Sunday, March 17, 2024.
The move, which will barely affect daytime travel, follows complaints from road users over the state of the busy route.
“We urge Motorists using that route to exercise caution as we endeavour to transform urban mobility,” KURA added.
The James Gichuru Road connects Gitanga Road in Lavington to Waiyaki Way and also serves users plying the Red Hill route and Olenguruone Road.
