Three children survive house fire in Machakos

Preliminary reports indicate that their mother had left the house while her children were sleeping in Kavuti Village, Kikule Sub-Location, in Masinga Sub-County.

An arsonist entered the home and set it ablaze from the bedroom, but fortunately, the children woke up in time and managed to escape, leaving the house, which was destroyed by the fire. 

Their mother, Victoria Mbithe, explained that she had gone to a nearby homestead when she received a distress call informing her that her house was on fire.
