The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) has announced a strategic partnership with Bidco Africa, naming the company as the Official Hydration Partner of Team Kenya ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

The partnership underscores the shared commitment of NOC-K and Bidco Africa to supporting Team Kenya's athletes by providing quality hydration solutions that will contribute to their preparation and performance as they represent the country on the international stage.

National Olympic Committee of Kenya President Shadrack Maluki said the partnership is a demonstration of the confidence the private sector has in Team Kenya.

"Our athletes deserve the very best support as they prepare to compete against the world's finest. This partnership with Bidco Africa is a demonstration of the confidence the private sector has in Team Kenya and in our vision of creating an environment where our athletes can thrive. Proper hydration is fundamental to elite performance, and we are delighted to welcome Bidco Africa as a valued partner on our journey to Glasgow 2026. Together, we are investing in the health, preparation and success of Team Kenya."

Bidco Africa Group Chairman, Vimal Shah said the company was proud to stand alongside Team Kenya as they prepare for one of the world's biggest multi-sport events.

" This launch is bigger than sport. It is a statement about Kenyan enterprise. We are telling our consumers that they deserve better. We are telling our young people that African brands can be premium. We are telling the market that local does not mean ordinary. Local can mean world-class. Local can mean elegant. Local can mean trusted. Local can mean aspirational."

He went on: "For many years, Bidco has served Kenyan families through edible oils, personal care, hygiene, foods, beverages and many other products. Our purpose has always been to contribute to happy, healthy living. ARISTA is part of that journey. It is a product for homes, offices, hotels, gyms, events, boardrooms, athletes, families and everyone who believes that how we live matters. We want people to ask for ARISTA not only because they are thirsty, but because they want to feel elevated."

The partnership will officially formalize the sponsorship ceremony bringing together the National Olympic Committee of Kenya President, Shadrack Maluki, Bidco Africa Group Chairman Vimal Shah, athletes, and other key stakeholders in Kenya's sporting fraternity.
