Storms head coach Abel Nson has attributed their good run in the league to team chemistry after they racked up another victory over the weekend.

Storms defeated KU ORYX 60-46 on Sunday for their fifth straight national women's basketball league victory.

“The team bond is working absolutely well; the girls have started gelling and playing well together. They understand each other and that has made our performance special.

“The girls know how each one of them plays as well as their personalities and so far we feel good about ourselves,” Nson said.

The win took Storms to 16 points having won six and lost four of their opening 10 games. That record leaves them second on the league standings while KU ORYX are on the opposite end of the table, sitting bottom with seven points.

Storms will conclude their first leg matches on Saturday when they play Africa Nazarene University Panthers.

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) tops the league with 18 points having won all of their first nine matches.
