Swiss luxury watch retailer TimeVallée has opened a boutique at the Global Trade Centre (GTC) Mall in Nairobi, introducing what it describes as Kenya’s first luxury multi-brand watch boutique.
The boutique,
located in Westlands, occupies more than 300 square metres within the GTC
complex, bringing together collections from 10 internationally recognised
watchmaking brands.
The brands
featured at the outlet include Cartier, Bvlgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer, IWC
Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Baume & Mercier, Panerai, Roger Dubuis and
Zenith.
According to a
statement to newsrooms, the boutique is designed to offer customers an
immersive watchmaking experience, combining luxury retail with personalised
services and access to specialist expertise.
The outlet
features an open-plan layout showcasing the different watch collections,
alongside Le Salon, a private lounge intended to provide customers with a more
personalised experience.
“TimeVallée once
again demonstrates its ability to deploy a unique luxury retail concept
internationally. We are thrilled to have partnered with Art of Luxury, a
trusted partner who shares our vision of serving local clientele with more than
a boutique, a watchmaking journey guided by a passionate sales team,” said
Hélène Maslin, TimeVallée’s Chief Executive Officer.
Art of Luxury,
which operates the retail destination at GTC Mall, said the partnership would
expand its luxury offering and introduce more international watchmaking brands
to Nairobi’s clientele.
“Partnering with
TimeVallée allows Art of Luxury to expand its luxury offering and to bring
world-class horology to Nairobi’s vibrant community,” said Mahesh Shahani,
Director at Art of Luxury.
The boutique
incorporates TimeVallée’s signature design features, including a
watchband-inspired marquee, golden tubes and champagne-coloured finishes,
blending contemporary design with elements intended to reflect the heritage of
luxury watchmaking.
The Nairobi
opening expands TimeVallée’s presence in the Middle East, India, Africa and
Turkey (MEIAT) region, following recent openings in Turkey, India and Egypt.
Established in
Switzerland in 2014, TimeVallée operates through strategic partners, with more
than 50 boutiques worldwide.
