Stanbic Aces head coach Maurice Obilo has expressed
confidence in his side ahead of their National Women’s Basketball Premier
League clash against UON Dynamites this weekend.
The bankers will face Dynamites at the USIU Grounds
on Saturday seeking to maintain pressure at the top of the standings.
“Yes, we're going to give them the respect that is
needed and we're going to come out and give it our best, fighting to the best of
our knowledge to make sure that we walk away with the win,” said Obilo.
“So as we said, one team at a time, we respect every
team in the Premier League, but we are okay. We just have two injuries, but I
believe the rest of the guys are ready to represent and get the job done.”
Stanbic Aces head into the tie sitting second on the
log with 13 points from seven matches, having won six and lost once.
Dynamites, meanwhile, are second from bottom on
eight points after managing just one win from their seven outings this season.
