Sofiya Nzau lands spot on EA SPORTS FC 26 soundtrack with ‘Your Love’

Sofiya Nzau’s collaboration with U.S. producer PLS&TY, ‘Your Love’, has been featured on the EA SPORTS FC 26 soundtrack.

This puts the Kenyan singer-songwriter on a global stage, as EA SPORTS FC (formerly known as FIFA) is one of the world's most popular football video game franchises, played by millions of fans across consoles, PC, and mobile.

Each edition of the game is accompanied by a soundtrack that has historically helped spotlight emerging and diverse artists from around the globe.

Being featured on the soundtrack means Sofiya's voice will now be heard by millions of gamers worldwide, a boost that easily translates into streaming growth, broader fan bases, and major brand visibility. 

Previous FIFA and FC soundtracks have been credited with catapulting songs into global anthems, and Sofiya's inclusion follows in that tradition.

This feature comes just weeks after Nzau became the first Kenyan artist to perform at Tomorrowland, one of the world's biggest electronic music festivals, during her maiden European tour in July.

At Tomorrowland, she shared the stage with global EDM heavyweights, including Steve Aoki, cementing her place as one of Kenya's most promising exports to the international music scene.

Nzau also performed at the Open Beatz Festival in Germany, to over 15,000 fans. Additionally, her collaboration with German producer Avaion, titled Wacuka, recently crossed 60 million streams on Spotify, further anchoring her popularity in the region.

With over 10 million monthly Spotify listeners, sold-out shows across multiple countries, and a Tomorrowland Mainstage debut under her belt, Nzau is rewriting the rules for African artists in global electronic music.
