Sofapaka FC have unveiled Francis Harigingo as the club’s new
head coach ahead of the new FKF Premier League season.
The former Rayon Sports coach will be assisted by his
Burundian compatriot Pablo Nduwimana who was also present during the unveiling.
The presentation included 17 newly signed players with the club
also announcing that the former coach David Ouma will take on a new role as sporting
director.
"We've made our plans as the club and decided to bring a
new team on board. This team includes a new coach, his assistant, and a set of
new players.
It's been long since our club won trophies, we therefore
believe that the thirst for trophies will be quenched by the experience this
team will bring,” Sofapaka president Elly Kalekwa said.
Burundian Harigingo has extensive experience having also
worked for Kiyovu, Mukura FC, and Police FC in the Rwandan Premier League.
