Six charged for witchcraft stunt in Mombasa

Six people who were last week involved in witchcraft stunt in Bamburi, Mombasa  have been arraigned for theft and creating disturbance.

The six Yassin Lokorobe, Ronald Nganga, Moses Wani Njau alias Patrick Ochien’g, Musa Ongum, Elizabeth Wetaba and Mary Achien’g Juma appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Diana Mochache at the Shanzu Law Courts.

Yassin Lokorobe and Ronald Nganga have been charged with  being in possession of a stolen car while Wani Njau and Musa Ongum have been charged with creating disturbance in  Bamburi, Kisauni by stripping naked.

In addition, Ongum and Wani are also facing a charge of being in the country illegally.

Magistrate Mochache ordered that the  snake which was used to perform the ‘ritual’ to be taken to Shimba Hills Forest in Kwale  County.

The case will be heard on September 19 when the court will rule on their bond application.
