Shalina set to establish consumer division in Kenya

After a forty-year journey that began in DRC, the firm has scaled up its operations throughout Africa and continues to grow with a direct presence in 21 countries.
The global firm that aims at making quality healthcare products & services affordable and available across Africa targets brands such as Germol, a personal hygiene care brand and Monalisa brand which offers a selection of body lotions and creams.

According to Khandel, Shalina’s goal is to provide quality brands at affordable price across Africa.
Located in Babadogo area in Nairobi, the healthcare provider employs 200 Kenyans with widespread operations in other counties.
In 2018, Shalina Healthcare officially commenced its operations in Kenya marked by the acquisition of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company(PMC )group.
The strategic acquisition of Orange Pharmaceutical in 2023 further solidified its presence in the Kenyan market, propelling the company to the top 5 pharmaceutical companies in Kenya.
“By leveraging Orange Pharmaceutical’s expertise, Shalina Healthcare expanded its product portfolio, enhancing its ability to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the Kenyan population,” says Khandel.
