Several motorists arrested after NTSA crackdown in Embu

Several drunk motorists were arrested after the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) office in Embu in conjuction with traffic officers conducted a crackdown on Friday night.
The compliance enforcement exercise led to the arrest of
several intoxicated drivers while several bodaboda riders were arrested for
lack of riding licenses, insurances, blaring lights and modified exhausts.
Likewise, unroadworthy vehicles and those with expired
inspection certificates were also flagged.
The exercise will continue for the entire festive season and
back to school period in 2026.
Meanwhile, the arrested will be arraigned in court on Monday.
