Senior NIS officer dies by suicide in Kilimani

A senior National Intelligence Service (NIS) officer died by suicide on Tuesday at his house in the Kilimani area of Nairobi, police sources have revealed.
The high-ranking official at the civilian intelligence agency sparked suspicion after failing to show up for work on Tuesday morning as usual.
His phone also went unanswered, and according to police, his coworkers tracked him down to his house, where he is said to have shot himself.
Sources say the officer left a suicide note.
