Busia Senator Okiya Omtata involved in accident at Ojolla area in Busia.

Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah was on Thursday evening involved in a minor road accident at Ojolla area on the Kisumu - Busia road.
The senator's saloon car which was heading towards Busia was hit by a truck that was ascending the Ojola steep hill towards Maseno.
It is reported that the truck was ascending uphill when it developed a brake malfunction and began to roll back hitting Omtatah's car on the right side.
Nyanza Regional Traffic Boss Allan Mwangi who confirmed the incident said as a result of the reverse impact, the Senator's car got slightly damaged.
Mwangi said the Senator was not injured during the accident and proceeded with his journey.
Both vehicles were driven to Maseno police station for further investigations.
