Senator in gun drama to stop recovery of ‘his’ assets

Nominated Senator, Paul Njoroge, on Tuesday, February 7 shot in the air to stop Vivo Energy team led by Managing Director, Polycarp Igathe, from recovering Shell Petrol Station in Karai, Naivasha, assets following temporary shut down due to alleged illegal operations.

In a statement released by the distributing company,Vivo Energy Kenya, the station has not been run in accordance to laid standards.

The oil supplying station has been reported to have run out of stock a number of times due to under capitalization by the retailer who had promised to settle the issues raised in previously held meetings.

Vivo said that providing reliable and consistent supply of high quality products and services for its customers being their main drive, Shell shall be closed temporarily and will be opened soon under new management.

The station was opened in October last year under independent retailer appointed by the company.
