President William Ruto has assured coastal residents that his administration will deliver a lasting solution to the long-standing land question in the region.

Speaking in Magarini and Malindi constituencies during the second day of his Coast tour, President Ruto said his government is committed to ending land injustices that have affected coastal communities for decades.

Tutengenezeni Broadbased government so that we unite all Kenyans together; tuondoe ukabila, chuki na ubaguzi ndio sehemu zote za Kenya ziweze kushughulikiwa na ziwe na maendeleo,' he said.

Coast leaders accompanying the President pledged their support in addressing the region’s challenges and urged residents to give the Head of State a second term in office.

"On behalf of my people, I want to say thank you because yesterday you started with Migingo talks...Malindi residents will benefit from the land and the title deeds," said Senate Speaker Amason Kingi.

"I must work with the National Government and President Ruto so that we can secure developments," Malindi MP Amina Mnyazi.

The remarks come a day after President Ruto oversaw the issuance of more than 33,000 title deeds to residents across the Coast region.
