Addressing his supporters in Kapsabet town after a church service, Ruto continued his criticism of his political opponents, singling out Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, former CS Fred Matiang'i and Wiper Patriotic Front Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
"Mr. Empty and Shinny Things, Mr. Yala and Ruaraka and Mr. 40, you have no agenda for this country. You are angry and planless. We will not allow you to divide Kenyans along ethnic lines," Ruto said.
Speakers during the roadside rally also blasted the opposition, saying they have no plan for Kenyans ahead of the 2027 election.
Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen criticised Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya for allegedly opposing Ruto's development plans in Trans Nzoia county.
"I hear he has planned to protest on Monday when the president opens a hospital in Trans Nzoia. I am warning him not to try that," Murkomen said.
Natembeya has criticised the President for allegedly launching projects built by the county government with the help of other development partners.
However, speaking separately in Nairobi, Sifuna dismissed Ruto claims that the opposition has no plan, saying over time the president will understand what the opposition stands for.
Sifuna also dismissed Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi's sentiments that a newly formed political formation cannot clinch the presidency.
"In 10 months we will prove to everyone that a new entrant can become president," Sifuna said.
