Kenya Kwanza leaders led by Farouk Kibet, alongside Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot, are set to tour Ildamat Ward in Kajiado County for a youth empowerment programme on Saturday, April 18.

The leaders will be joined by Narok East MP Ken Aramat, former Narok Governor Samuel Ole Tunai and Narok West MP Gabriel Ole Tongoyo.

The visit forms part of the government’s ongoing empowerment drives aimed at supporting youth and women through financial assistance, enterprise support and capacity-building initiatives.

The programme is also widely viewed as part of a broader political strategy to consolidate grassroots support ahead of the 2027 General Election, with leaders using such engagements to popularise President Ruto’s second-term bid while strengthening his support base across key regions.
