The Royal Nairobi Golf Club will host the highly anticipated
Boma Charity Golf Day on Friday, July 10, bringing together golfers, corporate
partners, alumni and friends of The Kenya High School for a day of sport, networking
and philanthropy.
Organized by The Kenya High School Alumnae Society under the
theme "From Limited Dreams to Limitless Hope," the tournament aims to
use golf as a platform to create a lasting academic legacy for young girls.
According to the organizers, all proceeds from the event
will be channelled into the Society's Endowment Fund Trust, which supports
scholarship programmes for financially disadvantaged students, enhances student
welfare and finances infrastructure development projects at The Kenya High
School.
Society President Louise Steinbeck said the event reflects a
shared commitment to empowering deserving girls to achieve their full potential
through education.
The day's activities will begin at 6:30am with the main golf
tournament, alongside participant registration and an on-site merchandise desk
operating throughout the event.
Registration remains open across several categories. Junior
golfers will pay Ksh2, 000, while individual adult golfers will pay Ksh4, 000.
Corporate teams can register a four-ball for Ksh14, 000, while non-playing
guests wishing to attend the High Tea and awards dinner can secure their places
for Ksh2, 500.
