Wonder Properties, in a commitment to sports sustainability, announced its partnership with AFC Leopards ahead of Sunday’s Mashemeji Derby, one of the country’s most historic football games.
The matchday sponsorship will support club operations, player welfare, and fan engagement initiatives.
According to the real estate firm, the partnership reflects a broader shift in how corporate organizations are engaging with community-driven activities, particularly sports.
This, it said, was not only investing in football but also in culture, youth development, and national pride.
Speaking during the partnership signing, Wonder Properties Kenya spokesperson Cynthia Nanjala emphasized the importance of supporting institutions that unite Kenyans.
“Football is more than just a game—it is a powerful social connector. Through this partnership, we aim to contribute to the growth of local talent while strengthening community engagement,” she noted.
The partnership comes at a time when clubs are increasingly relying on private sector support to remain competitive and financially stable.
AFC Leopards spokesperson Isaac Mulanda Mulindi welcomed the initiative, highlighting the importance of corporate backing in revitalizing Kenyan football.
“Partnerships like this are key to our long-term success," said Mulindi.
Wonder Properties Kenya said the partnership aligned with its broader vision of creating impact-driven investments that extend beyond real estate.
