PUBG MOBILE has opened registration for the Road to 2026 PMGO Season 2, giving competitive players across Sub-Saharan Africa their final opportunity this year to qualify for the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) and compete for a share of a Ksh. 388,800,000 prize pool.

The tournament represents the region's sole remaining gateway to the PMGC stage in 2026, making it a high-stakes event for any squad serious about competing at the highest level of mobile esports. The Season 2 champion will earn a direct qualification slot to the 2026 PMGO Season 2, where an additional Ksh. 64,800,000 prize pool awaits.

For African teams that have spent months grinding ranked matches and running competitive scrims, the Road to PMGO is the structured path that bridges local performance with a genuine shot at the world stage. PUBG MOBILE's global championship has grown into one of the most watched mobile gaming competitions on the planet, with the Ksh. 388,800,000 prize pool drawing top squads from every competing region.

Registration also carries an immediate reward. Every player who successfully completes sign-up is automatically entered into a lucky draw, with four winners each set to receive an Infinix Note Edge smartphone. The incentive is designed to encourage early participation ahead of what is expected to be one of the most competitive seasons in the region's esports calendar.

To be eligible, players must have reached Platinum Tier or above in Ranked Classic Mode during the current or a previous season. Teams are required to field a minimum of four players, with the option to register an additional substitute.

The registration process is straightforward. Players access the Road to PMGO page through the official registration link or by scanning the provided QR code. From there, they select their region, a step that requires care as the selection cannot be altered once confirmed. Players then create their team, enter a team name and motto, invite their teammates, and complete a pre-match security check to finalise registration.

Updates and live coverage will be shared on PUBG MOBILE Africa's official TikTok channel at tiktok.com/@pubg.mobile.africa.

PUBG MOBILE is co-developed by LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS of Tencent Games and KRAFTON, Inc.

The title is based on PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the battle royale game that reshaped competitive gaming after its launch in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote island, scavenging for weapons, vehicles, and supplies while battling inside a steadily shrinking play zone until one team remains.
