Probe as body of unknown man found in a stream in Migori

Police are investigating the death of a middle-aged man in Migori County.

The body, which remains unidentified, was discovered in a seasonal stream in Koigo area, Uriri sub-county by local residents who were passing by.

Central Kanyamkago Chief George Odhiambo reported that the cause of death is still unknown, and authorities are actively working to uncover the circumstances surrounding it.

The deceased's body has been transported to the morgue at Migori Level Four Hospital, pending an autopsy and further police inquiry.

Chief Odhiambo has urged families with missing loved ones to come forward and report to the police.
