Police seize bhang worth Ksh.900k being transported in G4S lorry

Two suspects ferrying fifty rolls of Marijuana worth Ksh.900, 000 were on Friday arrested by officers from Nambale Police Station.
According to a statement by the National Police Service (NPS), the police seized the fifty rolls and two boxes containing 30Kgs of Marijuana after they flagged down the G4S lorry heading to Nairobi from Busia.
The two suspects identified as Omondi and Okech aged 29 and 50 respectively are in police custody awaiting arraignment before Busia Law Courts on Monday by the Directorate of Criminals Investigations (DCI) Anti-Narcotics Unit.
The NPS extended a hand of appreciation to the members of public for their support leading to the arrest of the two suspects in possession of the Marijuana which has an estimated street value of Ksh.900, 000.
