Police seize 137 kilograms of bhang in Moyale

Police officers have confiscated 137 kilograms of bhang, estimated to be worth Ksh. 4.1 million, in Marsabit County.
The drugs, packed in 27 packets, were found in the residence of a suspect in Antut area.
Marsabit County Police Commander Leonard Kimaiyo confirmed that the seizure occurred approximately 35 kilometers from Moyale town.
He attributed the success of the operation to a tip-off from local residents who provided valuable information about the illicit trade.
The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Amina Mala Gure, is currently detained at Moyale police station and is expected to appear in court to face charges related to drug trafficking.
