Police recover stolen livestock in Isiolo

According to a statement by the National Police Service(NPS), the livestock, including 21 stolen goats and sheep, were recovered by a team from Kulamawe Police Station, working jointly with National Police Reservists.

The security team had conducted extensive patrols across LMD, KMC, Mlango, and Leparua, about 25 kilometres west of the station, after receiving reports of livestock theft in the area.

The officers engaged local elders in the operation, leading to the recovery of the 21 stolen animals, which were later handed over to the rightful owner. 

"Security patrols in the region have been intensified to pursue the criminals involved in the livestock theft and to ensure they face justice," read the statement.
