Police probe murder of Kibra man in suspected love triangle

The victim was reportedly cornered in the wee hours in one of the neighbours' houses in an alleged compromising situation with a woman.

Acording to witness reports, commotion ensued among the trio before the said husband grabbed a kitchen knife and attacked the deceased.

They said the victim fell in one of the corridors while attempting to escape and died on the spot.

Further reports indicate that the deceased had told his wife at around midnight that he was stepping out briefly and left his mobile phone on charge, but never returned, only for the community members to stumble upon his lifeless body metres away in the morning.

The body was discovered half naked.

Both the suspect and the woman at the centre of the incident are on the run as police are gathering the finer details regarding the matter.
