Police officer shoots, kills lover in Narok

Police have launched investigations into an incident where a police officer shot and killed his lover on Wednesday evening in Kibera estate, Narok County.
The two are said to have had an argument that resulted in the woman stabbing the officer with a knife on the head, prompting him to shoot her.
Trans-Mara West OCPD David Wambua confirmed the incident saying the woman died on the spot after sustaining serious bullet injuries on the neck.
The officer is recuperating at Kisii Level Five Hospital where he was transferred to after emergency treatment at Trans Mara Sub-county Hospital.
The body of the deceased was moved to St. Joseph’s Mission Hospital mortuary.
