Police officers arrived Tuesday morning at the Northlands City, a Kenyatta family-owned estate along the Eastern Bypass in Kiambu County, which was raided by hundreds of unknown goons on Monday during the anti-government protests.

The raid's aftermath saw dozens of sheep stolen, trees cut down and later a portion of the property burn down.

Officers who arrived at the premise found several temporary iron sheet shacks erected by the invaders, as well as what appeared to have been a subdivision on the said land.

The existing irrigation system on the land was also uprooted, and the pipes were then used to fence the land parcels.

Northland City staff have already started demolishing the shacks as the officers continue to assess the situation.
