Police Bullets reveal plans reinforce squad after stumbling in CECAFA

The law enforcers are back from Kigali Rwanda where they took part in the Caf Women’s Champions League Cecafa qualifiers and finished as first runners following a 1-0 loss in the hand of Kawempe Muslim Ladies of Uganda in the final match on Monday August 31 at Pele Stadium .
Speaking to Citizen Digital, the law enforcers chairman Nyale Munga said the target loss in Kigali was resulted to injuries and average squad depth hence there is need to bolster the squad with great talents across borders.
“I congratulate the girls for a good fight despite losing the final. We missed our three crucial players who were nursing injuries including Emily Muranga, Lucy Kwekwe and couple of others who had nocks but those who replaced them did an excellent job.
"Cecafa is now behind us and now we are focusing on the new season for the FKF WPL whereby I feel we need quality, strength and depth in the squad and to achieve this we are focused on signing foreign players," averred the apolice teams supremo.
"We have learnt a lot from the Cecafa tournament and one of the lessons is that teams were very physical more so Kawempe in the final and we need to match the strength in our squad ahead of next season," he added, observing that’s why are going for foreigners across Africa.
Kenya Police Bullets FC have so far been crowned Champions of the Kenyan Premier League for three consecutive seasons, but have failed to lift the Cecafa crown.
Nyale has called on the players to be more disciplined and the leaders to work with cohesion, in a bid to break the jinx.
“Players need to be more disciplined, and as team leaders we need to speak in one language for the betterment of the team," concluded the ever calm yet firm boss.
