Over 6,000 litres of illicit brew destroyed in Kisii

Police officers in Kisii County have discovered and destroyed 6,510 litres of an illicit brew locally known as Kangara.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), Kerina police officers discovered the illicit brew during a targeted raid in Wala village, Riana ward, on Sunday.
The police officers destroyed the brew alongside the brewing apparatus found at the scene.
The NPS reiterates its unwavering commitment to relentlessly pursue and eliminate illicit brews and narcotics across the country amid an inter-agency crackdown on the distribution of harmful substances in different parts of the nation.
