The operation, carried out on Saturday afternoon in collaboration with the National Police Service (NPS) and National Government Administration Officers (NGAO), followed intelligence-led surveillance in a residential estate within the town.
NACADA Chief Executive Officer Dr Anthony Omerikwa said the suspect is an associate of a suspected drug trafficker who is already in custody after being arrested in a previous operation in Naivasha with cannabis valued at more than Sh5 million.
He said preliminary investigations indicate the latest seizure forms part of a wider trafficking network operating within Naivasha and neighbouring counties.
"We are in hot pursuit of the remaining two major drug kingpins in this town," Dr. Omerikwa announced. "Our intelligence reports indicate their operations traverse across four neighbouring counties, but their days are numbered."
Security officials said the operation was part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to disrupt drug distribution networks and stem the supply of narcotics in the region.
Residents in the area welcomed the operation, citing concerns over the impact of drug trafficking on young people and insecurity within residential estates.
The suspect is being held at a local police station pending arraignment in court on charges related to trafficking in narcotic drugs. The seized cannabis was taken into police custody as evidence.
Authorities said investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest other individuals linked to the network.
