Buruburu Girls drew the first blood in the opening minute with a sublime two-pointer before Olympic levelled a minute later.
However, Buruburu reclaimed their lead in the fourth minute, scoring a superb basket to lead 5-2. The defending champions looked set to win by halftime, but Taghread Abdulhamid displayed magic, scoring two three-pointers to stage Olympic’s comeback giving them an 8-5 lead.
