Police FC head coach John Bobby Ogolla is convinced
the experience of the newly signed players will propel the team to the next
level and make them more competitive in the FKF Premier League.
The newly promoted side has been busy in the transfer
market, signing some high-profile Kenyan Internationals the likes of Francis
Kahata, Elvis Rupia and Harun Shakava who was the latest addition.
“They have the experience needed to strengthen the
team. I’ve coached some of them at Gor Mahia FC and I know their abilities so
we know what to expect,” Ogolla said.
With the team struggling with linkup between the
defence and attack the tactician says Kahata will provide the solution to that problem
because of his level of creativity.
With the league resuming after the international break,
Ogolla says they have worked on improving every department and are ready to
face Sofapaka on Saturday.
“We used the break to improve every department ahead
of the resumption of the league it won’t be an easy game against them but our
aim is to get maximum points,” Ogolla stated.
