ODPP feted for ICT reforms in prosecution processes

Here, DPP Renson Ingonga emerged second in the CEO/Director General of the Year – Digital Transformation Leadership category.
Also recognised was Head of ICT Nahashon Gitahi, who won the second award in the Head of ICT of the Year – Technology Leadership category.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) also claimed the third accolade, emerging third in the State Department/Independent Agency of the Year in the Digital Innovation category.
This was in recognition of the Uadilifu Case Management System, an electronic platform used by the Office to manage and track criminal cases throughout the prosecution process.
The awards were received by Chief of Staff Irene Maina, Head of ICT Nahashon Gitahi, and ICT Advisor to the DPP Sam Wetungu, who represented the DPP at the event in Mombasa.
The event was attended by ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo, Principal Secretary John Tanui, Immigration PS Belio Kipsang, and Broadcasting PS Stephen Isaboke.
