Nzoia Sugar will be looking to build momentum on Wednesday when they welcome MCF to Sudi Stadium for a National Super League (NSL) midweek showdown.

The Bungoma-based side is targeting their third victory of the campaign as they seek to climb higher on the table after an inconsistent start to the season.

Speaking to Citizen Digital ahead of the game, head coach Charles Odero has urged fans to fill the stands and rally behind the team, expressing confidence in the players’ readiness for the crucial clash.

He noted that the squad has shown steady growth and believes home support could make a significant difference.

We are well-prepared for this match, and I encourage our supporters to come out in large numbers to push the boys,” Odero said, emphasizing the importance of strong fan backing at Sudi Stadium.

He also highlighted the opportunities presented by the tight fixture schedule, saying it can benefit the team if managed properly.

According to him, having adequate squad depth and a clear plan can help Nzoia navigate the demanding run of matches and maintain consistency.

After 10 league outings, Nzoia Sugar sits 11th on the NSL standings with 13 points. Their record includes two wins, a single defeat, and an extraordinary seven draws, an indication of both resilience and the need to convert narrow margins into victories.

As they prepare to face MCF, Odero and his charges will hope Wednesday’s match becomes a turning point, setting the stage for a stronger push in the weeks ahead.
