The result of the collaboration culminated in the unveiling of a limited collection of bright red matte lipstick, and now shoves Tiwa into the pantheon previously dominated by other global stars, among them Itzy's Lia Kim.
Tiwa, who is now the first Mac Maker of African descent, used her social media accounts to announce the release of a new lip product with packaging that featured a sunset gradient and a silhouette sketch.
She revealed to her devoted audience that it took her and the Mac team about two years to complete the collection, which is now accessible to everyone.
"This has been two years in the making, sheessh so happy to finally share this with my soldiers. Out online GLOBALLY in 24 hours," Tiwa captioned an image of the shimmering lipstick pckage.
"Red is the new nude, make sure you get yours cause we selling out,"
The Mac Maker liptics are a collection that is not only inspired by talent, but is also made by talent.
They are designed by eight global beauty icons, each of whom specifies the formulation of a specific shade in the texture and finish that best represents their style.
Liptics are ultimately the result of an open collaboration between MA C Artists and the Product Development team to perfect an eponymous Lipstick that uniquely reflects the stars personality.
Tiwa says her lipstick in that evergreen red shade is the go-to when she's feeling bold and daring. The color is one of four hot colors from this year's MAC designers.
