Nigerian national nabbed over suspected drug trafficking

Detectives have arrested a suspect involved in drug trafficking after recovering sachets of cannabis sativa from his residence.
The suspect was identified as 29-year-old Nigerian national Christian Ikechukwu Uzochukwu.
He was arrested following a raid on his residence in the Kabarnet area along Ngong Road.
Police revealed that the suspect is in the country illegally. “Preliminary investigations have further revealed that the suspect is in the country illegally,” detectives said.
During the operation, officers recovered 33 sachets of bhang, ready for distribution.
Additionally, they seized two passports bearing the suspect’s name and other items.
He was taken to Muthaiga Police Station for processing, pending arraignment.
