Ndindi Nyoro warns IEBC against corruption in 2027 polls, says opposition's common enemy is Ruto

Speaking in Kangaita, Kirinyaga Central, Kirinyaga County, MP Nyoro said businesspeople allied to President William Ruto should not be awarded the tender to supply election kits to the IEBC.

"We are telling them we know everything, they should not try to do corruption in that commission and they should continue with voter registration because Kenyans want to continue with registration because next year they will vote Ruto out in round one," Nyoro said.

MP Nyoro maintained that the common enemy for the opposition is the current government and the opposition should not fight each other.

"We are telling our sisters and brothers who are in the opposition that our enemy is one and we should not waste time fighting other opposition members with words. We want to take Ruto home and develop Kenya," he said.

"Those who are wasting Kenyans' time, Kenyans want us to work together as opposition, our focus is on next year. We are allowing those vying for various seats in the opposition to speak at PPK rallies."

On disaster preparedness, Nyoro said the government should start preparing for El Niño early, warning that it will be very difficult for Kenyans.

"We want them to start preparing, we don't want to rush at the last minute when people are suffering," he said.

Nyoro, who first attended service at ACK Kangaita Church before holding political rallies at Kangaita and Mukinduri markets, said he will continue campaigning to ensure President William Ruto is not re-elected in the 2027 General Election.

He reiterated that basic education will be free once the opposition takes over.

"We, people of one term and the opposition, have superior and quality plans than this failed government and that is why we are saying in January 2028 we will offer the children of Kenya free basic education and children will be eating in schools without paying anything, and we have the formula without asking for taxes," he said.
