They lamented over discrimination in the issuance of jobs claiming that locals have not been getting jobs at the camp.
Women also complained of sexual harassment incidents within the camp saying they are required to give into sex demands for jobs.
The locals allege that the few who have had the opportunity to work in the camp have not been leaving the Nanyuki town camp to other training grounds such as Lolndaiga and Archers Post while other people from other regions have been coming to work at the Nanyuki camp.
People working as casuals in the camps prefer external assignments since they get an opportunity to earn allowances.
Attempts by the Laikipia County Commissioner to reconcile the residents with the British soldiers on Wednesday bore no fruit as the people persisted called for immediate fair treatment.
