Nakuru MCA Karanja Mburu killed in road accident

A Nakuru Member of County Assembly was killed on Sunday morning in a road accident near Viewpoint area in Gilgil on the Nakuru — Naivasha Highway.
Mr. Karanja Mburu, who was the MCA for Lakeview Ward in Naivasha, is reported to have lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, ramming into a tree.
According to Nakuru County Assembly Deputy Speaker Samuel Tanui, the deceased was found dead at the accident scene at around 5am with his car having overturned.
The deputy speaker said they could not immediately establish what time the accident occurred.
The county lawmaker, who was Chairman of the Disaster Management Committee of the County Assembly, was driving to Nakuru.
The body was moved to Umash mortuary in Nakuru.
